Founded in 2003 by executive producer Ken Andrews, the South Bay Music Awards LLC has become a revered institution within the South Bay music community. Ken Andrews, a respected figure in the local music scene, has dedicated himself to supporting and advocating for numerous talented artists throughout his tenure with the SBMA. Throughout its history, the SBMA has celebrated the achievements of both local musicians and industry legends, providing a vital platform for emerging bands and artists to shine.
The SBMA has proudly honored esteemed artists such as Gary Wright, Brenda Holloway, Davie Allan (Davie Allan and the Arrows), Chas West (Bonham), Neil Turbin (Anthrax), Mitch Perry (Whitesnake), Brandy Moss-Scott, and Jesse Damon (Silent Rage / Electric Caravan).
This year, the highly anticipated “11th Anniversary Gala” will once again take place on Sept 30th, 2023. The event promises an exceptional lineup of renowned and unforgettable performers. We are thrilled to present Billy Vera (“At This Moment”) with the well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award.
